Kalpataru Day Cel­e­bra­tion: Jan­u­ary 1, 2012

On Jan­u­ary 1, 1886, Sri Rama­kri­shna blessed the devo­tees with spir­i­tual real­iza­tion, thus becom­ing like the prover­bial wish-fulfilling tree, dis­pelling the fear of death, and reveal­ing him­self as a divine incar­na­tion. Every year devo­tees observe this event with a celebration.
